Clinical training is an essential part of nursing education at MIET Kumaon College of Nursing, Haldwani. The college provides structured clinical exposure in reputed hospitals and healthcare institutions to help students develop practical skills, clinical competence, and professional confidence. During their clinical training, students work under the supervision of experienced nursing faculty and hospital professionals. This allows them to apply theoretical knowledge in real healthcare settings and gain hands-on experience in patient care, nursing procedures, and hospital practices. Students receive training in various departments such as medical-surgical wards, critical care units, maternity wards, pediatric wards, community health centers, and specialty departments. This exposure helps them understand different aspects of healthcare delivery and prepares them to manage diverse clinical situations. The internship program further strengthens students’ clinical competence by allowing them to actively participate in patient care, clinical procedures, and healthcare team activities.
