Devbhumi Foundation is a non-profit, self-governed educational trust established in 30th August 2006 with a commitment to advancing quality education and holistic regional development in Uttarakhand. Since its inception, the foundation has been actively working in the fields of professional education, school education, and community development with the aim of contributing to both societal and regional growth. Based in Haldwani, the foundation operates professional institutions and schools, including MIET Kumaon and Swastyayan Senior Secondary School. Shri Vishnu Saran, B.E. (Mechanical), is the Chairman of the MIET Group of Institutions and a distinguished engineer with over 37 years of dedicated service as Director of Boilers, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Known for his disciplined approach and visionary leadership, he has guided the steady growth of premier institutions including Meerut Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET), Inderprastha Engineering College (IPEC), Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT), MIET Kumaon, Haldwani, Meerut Public School and Swastyayan Public School, Haldwani. With a strong belief in discipline, quality education and value-based learning, he continues to inspire these institutions to promote academic excellence, skill development, innovation and responsible citizenship for national growth and global relevance.

Shri Puneet Agarwal is the Vice Chairman of the MIET Group of Institutions. He holds a Civil Engineering degree from IIT BHU and a PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad. With over 24 years of rich professional experience across multinational and Indian corporates, PSUs and consultancy firms, he has worked in diverse sectors including power, textiles, retail, education and IT.His expertise spans sales & marketing, engineering design, operations and corporate finance. He is deeply committed to advancing educational excellence and holistic student development across group institutions including MIET Kumaon, Inderprastha Engineering College (IPEC), Meerut Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET) and Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT), fostering innovation, leadership and professional excellence.

Dr. Bahadur Singh Bisht

Dr. Bahadur Singh Bisht is the Managing Director of the MIET Group of Institutions and a distinguished academician with rich experience in higher education and public service. He has served in various key academic and administrative positions including Professor, Principal and senior leadership roles in higher education institutions. He has also served as Former Joint Director, Higher Education Uttarakhand and Minister of State, Government of Uttarakhand. With extensive experience in academics, administration and governance, he provides strong leadership in strengthening academic quality, institutional development and research culture.
